Alteracije u prostoru su rezultat konceptualnog skulptorskog istraživanja koje tretira pitanje domena, estetike, pa i samog medija skulpture u našoj epohi informatičke imperije. Tehnologija digitalne informacije imanentno smanjuje vreme i prostor, (njeni prozvodi teže nevidljivosti), i nameće se pitanje "da li umetnost, bas kao i tehlologija, dostiže svoju perfekciju kao imateriajna, nevidljiva ili negde u procesu kompresije prostora i vremana?"
Ciklus radova inspirisanih upravo idejom "nevidljivog" nastaje u traganju za optimalnim odnosom nematerijale "informacije" i minimalne količine materije, tj. skulptorskog materijala (metala), koji omogućava pojavnost, trodimenzionalne skulptorske forme.
Za razliku od matematički savršenih softverski generisanih oblika, ove forme karakteriše ekspresivnost, imetričnost i posebna dimenzija prostornosti – rađanje alternativnog, istovremeno realnog i virtuelnog prostora.
Kompleksnost likovnog istraživanja zaokružena je serijalom "digitalnih grafika na metalu" kao rezultatom reverzibilnog procesa – procesa "kompresije vremena i prostora"...
Tatjana Jakovljević je diplomirala i magistrirala na Fakultetu Primenjenih Umetnosti u Beograd.
Istraživačkim radom bavila se kao predavač na American University in Dubai, a potom, od 2010. kroz doktorsku disertaciju na Univerisidad de Barcelona.

It emerged as a result of conceptual and sculptural exploration of the problem of position, domain and aesthetics of artistic discipline of sculpture in our over-designed empire of informatics. Information technology immanently decreases time and space, while contemporaneous products incline to invisibility. The question arises: Does art, as well as technology, achieve its perfection as immaterial, invisible or (somehow) along the process of compression of space and time?
Inspired by the idea of the "invisible", this cycle of artworks inquires into the optimal relation between immaterial "information" and minimum of a solid metal that leads to material appearance of a sculptural form.
Unlike the product of the artificial intelligence, which is predictable and mathematically perfect, these forms have immanent organic value - unpredictable, expressive and containing one unusual spatial quality; that is, they create and exist within an alternative space, space which is simultaneously real and virtual…
Tatjana Jakovljević graduated and completed master studies at Faculty of Applied Arts, Art University of Belgrade.
She began theoretical research in 2007, as a lecturer at American University in Dubai, and continued through PHD dissertation at University of Barcelona.
